- Responsible for the definition, development, and maintenance of automation test scripts and test plans.Utilize automation tools and methodologies to improve individual effectiveness and to increase efficiencies across the enterprise.
- The Automation Engineer reviews and provides feedback on newly developed scripts, as well as suggestions for improvement and innovation for existing processes.
- Responsible for reviewing project plans and requirements, and making appropriate and necessary changes to the test suites.
- The Automation Engineer is responsible for accurate reporting and timely escalation of issues found during automation testing. he/she will drive these issues to resolution, and make appropriate changes in reaction to them.
- Responsible for the development of SQL queries for reporting on testing status, assisting in production support, testing assistance, and other automation responsibilities. (Our platform includes Oracle, Sybase, and SQL Server databases).
