Our client, a leader in their field is seeking a strong Area Business Manager-Egypt-Sudan . You will be directly reporting to the General Manager and be based in CAIRO-EGYPTMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES "Analyze market trends. Identify consumer needs. Observe and assess competition. Select the best distributor. Define the ideal range. Adapt and implement company's strategy in the area. Coach and train the distributor sales team. Suggest sales and marketing actions according to Brand guidelines and marketing plan. Challenge and motivate the distributor to achieve the objectives. Sieze all business opportunities. Evaluate sales assessment. Reward or take corrective actions. Manage all company's distributors in the area of responsibility. Identify customer needs based on a clear market analysis (consumers, competitors...). Set up commercial objectives, incentive scheme and business plans. Optimize product assortment per country and distribution channel fully in line with company's MEA sales and pricing policy. Follow up payments and monitor customer PandL. Train and support the sales team of the distributors. Sales forecasting. Catch all new sales opportunities. Be the interface between the company and the distributors. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS "Achieve Numerical Distribution Market Share Visibility targets Accuracy, frequency and quality of market data reporting Accuracy, frequency and quality of company's local action reporting SWOT analysis of local distributor Local marketing plan follow up Number of proposed and implemented actions Number of outlet visited Report activities, data, results and experience on a weekly basis Minimum of 5 years of experience Previous roles include Retail, Sales, Marketing, managing and partnering with distributors. Industry experience FMCG, Consumer Durables, or other relevant industry experience. Knowledge of FMCG distribution in emerging countries." "Expertise and strong insignt into Egyptian and Sudanese markets and their local practices. Influences, collaborates, and manages others and cross-functionally. Hands-on in the business and field Can manage and process data obtained from market visits, distributors, and market intelligence. Uses data from different sources and formulates strategy that serve the company and our partners in the region. Strong negotiation skills - can come up with win-win scenarios for partners and the company. Ingenious, creative and can solve complex problems using simple, ethical and creative solutions.
