- Development of the mechanical aspects of the Statement of Requirements and Basis of Design.
- Development of mechanical specifications for the project.
- Plans, schedules and provides work direction as required for preparation designs, reports and correspondence and related data and assurance the efficiency, adequacy and conformance of overall objectives of all phases of very complex engineering problems.
- Managing mechanical scope change, integration between project elements and overseeing technical interfaces related to mechanical systems.
- Participation in engineering design reviews and ensuring the close out of mechanically-related technical recommendations.
- Supporting the team with technology screening and specialist engineering consultants and assuring the interfacing of this information with the delivery team.
- Supporting the delivery managers in assuring the quality and timeliness of mechanical engineering deliverables.
