Responsible for the plants Purchasing results and contribution to the Product Line results
Support the Product Line Purchasing Manager in his\her tasks and where appropriate eventually represent or substitute him\her for assigned tasks or in case of absence
Work in close team wiht PL Purchasing Manager for Strategies, Cost out plans, and Projects
Participate and support in building up of purchasing strategy and sourcing activity and ensure that they are implemented in the plant
Ensure that procedures and systems are duly implemented and followed.
Set up and ensure an appropriate up to date administration of documentation, databases and required reporting systems in line with the company requirements and policies
Avoid proliferations of routines at all time.
Drive the Purchasing Team activities ensuring a smooth workflow and a prompt execution of tasks
Support, and where appropriate integrate, the Buyers team key tasks and activities: negotiations, plans, sourcing boards, …
Team coaching and human resource development.
Manage team job assignments and workload.
Set up team targets in line with the purchasing targets and strategy
Sourcing Boards Preparation and presentation
Prepare and report plant purchasing plans and cost out plans
Provide prices information and trends for buget building
Ensure a smooth and flowless information flow from the plant purchasing to the organization.
Ensure collaboration with other Plants Purchasing Teams
