The position is a pivotal function in the plant management team working in close cooperation with Sales Companies, Suppliers and all involved Central Functions.
The selected candidate will run the planning department & call-off department, the warehouse department.
Main responsibilities are the following:
•To plan supplier delivery, factory production and finished products dispatch to fulfill sales companies demand;
•To activate in due time all actions to adapt supply to demand focusing on flexibility to volumes and to mix (minimum batch), based on short/mid/long term sales plans;
•To manage bottle-neck exceptions agreed with relevant functions (allocation mode);
•To manage production start-up of new products assuring: - Respect of IPDP and bill of materials availability at least 12 weeks before production start, - Definition in the first three months of ramp-up volumes (also managing phase-out of old products and components), - To drive local product introduction process activities in connection with production start-up, phase-out,
•To manage all local activities related to call-off;
•To manage supply chain performances in terms of availability (OFR, D-SUERR), reliability (DIP) and keeping integrated stock levels at targets;
•To measure performances of full supply chain using selected KPIs (e.g. DSA) and to inform internally and externally (suppliers);
•To organize activities related to custom clearance of components and raw material, including managing custom broker and custom specialist.
