About the Job:
Ensure a safe, secure, clean and functional environment for our visitors and co-workers. Maintain the building, mechanical operating systems, non selling furniture, interior and exterior in "shape as new" to promote the image and brand of IKEA.
Operational
* Complete work orders and preventative maintenance as scheduled in liaison with HSE Senior and HSE Manager.
* Act upon building, grounds, and maintenance inspections. Be a contact point with various external service providers.
* Implement Facility department routines and procedures, both preventive and reactive.
* Be available and alert throughout allocated shift; to be ready to assist Duty Manager in attending to Maintenance issues on the spot.
* Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements and that the Company promotes and complies with best practice in all areas of Health & Safety.
Customers
* Contribute to maintain store in "Shape as new" by performing building maintenance functions according to the planned maintenance process.
* Foster a "Service" oriented approach with all departments.
* Be a contributor to provide a safe working environment for all, by following: local, federal and IKEA Risk guidelines.
* Ensure Store is in safe, functioning environment through daily HSE checks of Emergency Exits and Fire Fighting procedures.
