Responsible to provide administration and development of IELTS, Professional and Educational Examinations in Alexandria and Delta Area in line with British Council (Examinations Quality Standards), Board requirements and Marketing and Business Action Plans.
•All Board requirements met (incl. security, due dates, reporting, scripts and certificates handling and distribution, board payments)
•Manages specified Examination Venues to meet British Council / examination board specifications.
•Registration and administration processes meet board requirements for deadlines and match requirements of EQS.
•Information for the general public is up to date, relevant and, where appropriate, available in Arabic.
•To work with Examination Services Manager Alexandria, examinations staff and Central Services to deliver an effective logistical control mechanism for the delivery of UK qualifications in Egypt
•Goods in/goods out framework developed for UK examination in charge of.
•Archiving of contracted services developed and maintained up-to-date
Work with Examination Services Manager for the delivery of the local marketing and promotions plan.
•Product knowledge is up-to-date and accurate.
•Key clients agreed and action plan in place.
•Customer Satisfaction surveys conducted and stored for mandated market research.
•Agreed campaigns delivered on time and within delegated budgets.
Provide direct support to Customers and Clients.
•Provides a professional and efficient image of British Council (e.g. through training / support events)
•Answers questions regarding examinations quickly and efficiently
•Handles all customers with same level of professionalism
•Actively seeks opportunity to promote other British Council services
Work for the delivery of specific financial processes.
•Income Reconciliations produced on time and in accordance with Essential Finance guidelines
•Board invoices checked and processed on time.
•Handles and reports on cash holdings within delegated authorities and according to requirements of Essential Finance and FABS ( Financial and Business system SAP)
Assist with British Council public events and cross-over and out-reach activity.
•Is up-to-date with wider British Council activity
•Actively seeks to keep abreast of local projects and activities
•Attends BC functions and assists with cross-promotional activity
To line manage Examinations Services staff as agreed, ensuring outcomes are achieved and targets and standards met.
•Deliverables agreed and followed up, performance management procedures and training plans completed to local deadlines
•Compliance with corporate guidelines, British Council values, and with legislation or other external requirements
