•Establishes and operates all engineering processes and functions, engaging and developing existing PSP systems. Includes Engineering and design standards, document control, project and program reporting etc.
•Supervises all engineering activities in assigned projects in accordance with overall organization standards and procedures. Must ensure the effective use of work processes, procedures, systems and tools are in place for all projects.
•Responsible for project coordination for all Engineering and Technical aspects. Work with project focused multi-discipline teams responsible for the civil, mechanical, electrical and controls engineering.
•Support Project Managers in execution of engineering content for Project Execution Plans. Resolve Technical and Engineer issues. Provide the technical expertise and resources to allow field and project issues to be solved in a cost effective manner.
•Liaise as necessary with clients on key technical and delivery matters.
•Manage the development of detailed specifications for major equipment such as boilers, turbines, and balance of plant equipment. Ensure consistency in development of specifications and engineering reports.
•Provide technical guidance and review on projects.
•Assure the motivation and continued development of technical resources associated with the department's technical program.
•Resource and expense budget planning for the department's technical program.
•Planning, recruitment and development of personnel required to deliver the company different services (Tendering, Automation, Construction, Project Management). This includes various disciplines of Engineers, Designers, and Project Controllers etc.
•Monitoring, reporting and improvement of the quality, accuracy and efficiency of the department by ensuring the utilization, development and improvement of multi-discipline tools, personnel and innovation. Provide guidance on medium and long term departmental goals and objectives. Assure that the quality of design is maintained at the highest level possible.
•Driving for Results - Setting strategic objectives for department accomplishment; using measurement methods to monitor progress toward strategy attainment; tenaciously working to deliver strategy; deriving satisfaction from the process of strategy development and continuous improvement.
