Key Tasks:
1. Assist in producing site evaluation and development appraisals.
2. Assist to initiate and obtain the necessary approvals both internally and externally to the Group for defined projects.
3. Help manage the process by which consultants and contractors are appointed and monitor their performance.
4. Help ensure "Third Party" Project Managers provide adequate support in the design, tendering, consultant / contractor appointment and project execution.
5. Help ensure the design, technical quality and performance specifications of the projects are achieved through to completion and handover.
6. Assist to provide regular feedback with regard to project status and costs.
Dimensions
-Financial:
1. Ability to assist the development manager take overall charge of projects up to US$ 75 million.
-Complexity:
1. Able to assist manage and coordinate the work of internationally based external advisors as well as a comprehensive team of locally based consultants.
2. Ability in fee negotiations with both consultant and contractor appointments.
3. Work closely with the Group of Companies in particular those with close association to Property Development ie. Commercial Operations (Leasing, Operations) and Retail.
