To carry out the simulator training for DCS personnel (Panel Operators in addition to Back-up) in operations department in order to ensure that all DCS personnel are competent to carry out their duties according to the company standards.
To plan, coordinate and monitor the simulator training programs for all DCS supervisors and DCS back up operators in operations department.
To monitor training activities covering the new DCS backup operators and giving proper counselling and advice when needed to ensure achievement of overall training objectives.
To develop new scenario training workbooks relevant to the existing plant trips and the potential ones.
To ensure all DCS supervisor and DCS back operators training for operations with emphasis on DCS skills and knowledge using OTS training workbooks to meet departmental needs.
To prepare training performance reports for each nominated participant logged in reports or training activities.
To identify, develop, conduct and evaluate operators sinulator training that is done by formal on the job training, coaching and monitoring with particular stress on operations safety, environment and quality issues.
To identify the copetencies asssociated with the DOING activities by using operators training simulator or live DCS panel relevant to: operation operating procedures, process demands & constraints, equipment mal functions & emergency response procedures.
To ensure the outcomes of the learning activities from formal on the job training are transfered to the work place by following up with participant and the operation supervisor.
To ensure that all the softwares and harware is well maintained and updated.
