To control and supervise the mecahnical maintenance activities for all rotating equipments in the plant to ensure that rotating machinery are opertaing safely and maintained in good condition in order to optimize its life cycle cost as a main purpose.
To supervise and lead contractor mecahnical teams and to give precise instructions in their area of responsibility considering the safety, quality and duration of work.
To provide the necessary support and guidance to contractors to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
To develop preventive maintenance programs and provide maintenance work instructions and scopes of work for rotating equipment maintenance activities.
To assist in the preparation of the planned shutdown activities & follow up the maintenance work execution on rotating equipments during shutdowns in supervisory capacity.
To issue technical reports for minor & major repai activities and feedback on the Computerized Maintenance Management System that is to keep a history on the system that will be useful in the analysis of equipment reliability.
To develop, monitor and maintain a database of vital operating parameters to verify that machinery is performing and used efficiently.
To collaborate in preparing the budget of mechanical maintenance department.
To collaborate in the analysis of breakdowns and incidents and to determine their causes and to propose corrective measures.
