Bayt Abdullah Children's Hospice is an exciting and ambitious programme as it is the first fully comprehensive children's palliative care service in the Region. BACCH will provide holistic, multidisciplinary care for children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening diseases and their families. This speciality programme aims to provide the five key dimensions in paediatric palliative care: inpatient care, daycare, respite care, home care and outreach support to hospitals. Our staff work collaboratively with paediatric and sub specialist staff throughout the Ministry of Health to ensure care provision at a national level, as well as developing an education and research programme for Kuwait.
BACCH is seeking a full time Nurse Team Leader (4 vacant positions) who are expected to be part of the senior clinical nursing team within an multidisciplinary team supporting, working alongside junior nurses using advanced skills to demonstrate senior nurse competency in the field of Paediatric Palliative Care reflecting the highest standards of care for children, young people and their families. The Nurse Team Leader will provide clinical leadership supported by the Head of Care to the nursing team working at BACCH.
