To supervise the work of electrical contractors involved in maintenance, repair, and testing of all power generation and transformation equipments and maintain maintenance records, write technical reports and interpret technical drawing & manuals.
To participate in planning and implementation of planned maintenance programs and supervise the maintenance work and participates in more complex electrical repairs and adjustments.
To identify & select the correct application of spare parts and engineering materials, then review requisitions for ordering spare parts, materials and tools.
To provide work supervision and on the job instruction to electrical contractors staff assigned to his work.
To liaise with operation and engineering personnel regarding power generation ands transformation equipment in order to maintain performance reliability and efficiency.
To issue electrical danger notices as authorized and responds to emergency calls as required.
To ensure company regulations relating to safety and work permits are observed.
To assist the direct supervisor in establishing priorities and recommends improvements to work methods, studies minor modifications, draw sketches and write descriptions for Power Generation & Transformation equipments.
To participate in the inspection and testing of completed work in order to ensure its conformity to prescribed specifications.
To Assist in shutdown preparations.
To Comply the daily work schedules.
